Shipping Policy
This Freight Shipping Policy explains our heavy equipment transport process. Every generator order placed with Groundmark Commercial Equipment receives Free LTL Freight Shipping with Residential Liftgate Delivery across the contiguous 48 United States.
1. Free Curbside Liftgate Delivery Included ($250 Value)
Inverter generators weigh between 95 lbs and 235 lbs and cannot be handled by ordinary parcel vans. We ship via top-tier Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight logistics partners, including R+L Carriers, Estes Express Lines, SAIA Freight, and FedEx Freight. We cover the entire cost of hydraulic liftgate service, ensuring the driver safely lowers the palletized generator from the truck bed directly to your driveway or curb.
2. Order Processing & Transit Time
- Processing: In-stock generator orders are secured to heavy wooden pallets and dispatched from our California or Texas logistics hubs within 1–2 business days.
- Transit Time: Typical delivery is 3–5 business days depending on your regional zone.
3. Pre-Delivery Appointment Scheduling
Once your shipment arrives at your local freight service center, the carrier dispatch office will call the contact phone number provided at checkout to arrange a 2-to-4 hour residential delivery appointment window. Please ensure an adult (18+) is available to receive and inspect the freight.
4. Freight Inspection Guidelines
Upon driver arrival:
- Inspect the outer corrugated crate and strapping for punctures or crush damage.
- If external crate damage is present, write "Damaged Package" on the electronic handheld terminal or delivery slip before signing.
- Take clear photos of the packaging.
- Notify our support team at support@groundmark.us within 48 hours so we can expedite immediate warranty replacement or repair parts.
5. Tracking Your Shipment
As soon as your generator is loaded onto the freight trailer, you will receive a Freight Bill of Lading (PRO#) tracking link via email. You may also track progress directly on our Track Order page.
6. Excluded Shipping Destinations
Currently, free freight shipping applies to the 48 contiguous United States. We cannot ship heavy power equipment to PO Boxes, APO/FPO military addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, or US Territories without special custom freight quote arrangements.
